Monograph

This series of creations is inspired by a world in which my identity becomes increasingly ‘fuzzy’. When two different things - of any nature - meet, a vibration or interference occurs, and a line that was once clear, is now ‘fuzzy’.

Each creation falls within a similar set of parameters and has its own theme. Each one explores the relationship of dissimilar materials embodied in a physical model. The model captures the reaction and then it is cut in plan and section. Drawing is then used as a medium to conceive of how these forms can be occupied by people. Decisions on how the model was generated and what materials should be used were an ongoing dialogue with the theme of each creation.

The models and images below were initial investigations of how different things could react to one another or be perceived.
