Her love of drawing and buildings can be traced back to when she was first able to hold a pencil, and to her first family visit to Hong Kong as a child. She always feels an urgency to learn and feels gratified when sharing her knowledge with others.

Bless grew up in between the suburbs of Los Angeles and Houston. She moved to New York City to attend Parsons the New School for Design where she earned her BFA. Then she went on to attend Columbia University in the City of New York to achieve her M.Arch.

As an architect, Bless has worked at world renowned architecture firms such as Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Handel Architects, Snøhetta, and DLR Group where she is currently employed. Bless has also taught and lectured at Parsons the New School for Design, City Tech, New York City College of Technology and has sat as a juror for Architizer's annual drawing competitions since 2021.  Bless' drawings/visualizations have won numerous awards as she continues to reveal the importance of integrating analog art in all processes of design and composition that pursue originality.
